Middle Tennessee Sheltie Rescue is directed by Ann Acuff
Middle Tennessee Sheltie Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.
Donations are gratefully accepted and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Our rescue program is designed to help Shetland sheepdogs who are homeless find permanent homes.
Some of our dogs come from homes where they are no longer wanted. Some from homes where
there is a divorce, some from homes where the family is moving and unable to take the dogs,
some just because!!! Others are found wandering the streets and end up in local shelters,
where we are called to come and get them.
All
of our dogs are in need of "forever" homes.
The dogs are not considered adoptable until they have been spayed/neutered,
have their shots brought up to date,
checked for heartworms and put on heartworm preventative, and groomed.
