MISTY

Ann, I just had to let you know.  Misty and I went to obedience class last night and she was unbelievable.  When we were heeling, she never took her eyes off of me and she sat every time I stopped.  I would put her in a sit-stay and throw a treat in front of her and she did not move.  Her recall is excellent.  We went through the class and everybody had to demonstrate everything we had learned since next week is our last class.  Misty got everything perfect the first time.  The instructor kept us after class and we worked her some off lead while there were still people around.  She was just as good as she was on the lead and only had a problem with staying on my left when we turned.  The instructor wanted me to enter a trial this weekend, but I'm just not ready yet, even though Misty is.  She will be entered in November.  Nobody in that building would believe that she had not had some prior training.  I can't convince them that she is just a very smart dog.

Ann, I just wanted to let you know that Misty is the BEST.
We love her so much. Thank you for allowing her to come live with us.

We are still dealing with potty issues, but other than that, she is great!!!!
Maggie is still adjusting, but I am sure they will be best friends before we know it.
Misty actually barked for the first time yesterday, her tail is starting to wag and she is eating good.
Believe it or not, she can actually jump up on the sofa now!!

Thank you again, for letting us adopt her.
Rest assured that she is well loved and has become the queen of our house.
