We first got Teddy Bear from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky after he was
found running loose in coal mining country. They were getting ready to put him
down when we were called by a worker there. When Teddy came to us
he was heartworm positive, and successfully made it
through the often fatal treatment. He's been with us for well over a year!
