Craig was having a "not so good" day today; lots of pain. 
Thought you would like to see how Macee helped him this afternoon.
 Craig got down on floor and was petting Macee and talking to her.
She loved it, of course, and laid her head on his leg to nap

Macee is doing great!  I believe she loves it here and I know we love having her. 
I have a few toys for her and bought her a little bed.  I didn't know if she would take to it or not, but she seems to like it very much. 
She and I both are hot natured.  She loves sitting in the living room near the fan
(which happens to be next to my corner on the couch)! 
In fact, after we play ball and she's had her fill, she finds "her spot" and cools off!

Dear Ann,
 
Just a quick note to let you know how Macee is doing. 
It has been a little over 24 hours and she acts as if she has been here all her life. 
She is very comfortable with her new surroundings. 
Several of my nieces and nephews dropped by yesterday and she played ball with them. 
She is a little shadow for both Craig and myself and so much fun. 
We feel that she is God's blessing to us through you. 
 
She is such an intelligent dog, and has a real sense of humor!
