LADY

May 10, 2006

We have a new addition to our family! We adopted a Sheltie about 2 weeks
ago from a rescue shelter in Tennessee. Her name is Lady and she is
about 9 years old. She has fit right in with us and the boys have fallen in love with her!
We had been looking for a dog for a few months when we found her.

Tanner's only stipulation was that she had to have a white tail.
Although Lady does not have a white tail he still loves her. The boys
love going on walks with her, and Trevor is trying to teach her to play
catch. Wherever we are, she is right beside us. She has been to Trevor's
T-Ball games, picnics, and any other places we can take her. She has her
own seatbelt and sits between the boys any time we go somewhere.
Hope all is well.
Enjoy!

Hi Ann! I just wanted to give you an update on Lady.
She did very well coming home Saturday, and needless to say the boys
fell in love with her when they saw her. After church Sunday we took her
on a hike on the trails and she loved it! We walked about a mile and we
were all pooped when we got home. She slept very well that night and so did we!!

Today she helped me plant some flowers and Trevor is trying to
teach her to play catch. She also attended her first T-Ball game (today)
and did very well there as well. Everyone that has seen her has fell in
love with her!! (Who couldn't love a face like that!!)
We are working on the barking
when the telephone rings. She is doing much better though.

She has fell in love with Eric! When he walks into the room she forgets
that anything else exists. Get this-she won't shake for me anymore-only
Eric. She must have a fetish for males!!

The boys have gone to school telling everyone about their new dog.
Tanner calls her his "Pretty Puppy". He has even renamed his stuffed dog
"Lady".

Thank you for all your help in getting Lady. We prayed about it and we
knew that the right one would be sent to us, and she was. I admire you
in helping these animals.

Have a great evening-
Jennifer
