We have new photos of Penny...with her boyfriend, Tojo.
He lives next door and they have been in love from day one! They visit at the fence and
sometimes Tojo's owner will bring him over for a play date.
I think he reminds Penny of one of the friends there at the rescue.

Anyway, she's big and smart, sometimes silly (like her "big tongue" pic) and very loved.

Hi, Ann...
 
Just wanted to drop a note to tell you how wonderful Penny is doing and what a wonderful
addition to our family she is.
 
She was so timid when she first came to our home, but she is loved by all and knows it! 
She loves riding in the car...she runs all the "drive-thru" and "drop-off" errands with me,
and Josh and I take her to Petco and Petstar...she's a shopper. 
Our intention was for her to be "Josh's dog", but she is special to each of us...definitely a family girl. 
She lays on my feet while I work at my computer.  Her standard wakeup is to jump
on our bed, then run upstairs and jump on Josh's.

 

She is probably the only dog around with a goldfish...when I tell her
"let's go upstairs and feed Sparky", she runs up and sits in front of his aquarium while I feed him. 
Her grandparents love her too...she has won the hearts of everyone. 
 
I'm sad to say she finally destroyed Quasimoto...stuffed toys do not last long at all,
but she loves her rope and her balls and has learned to walk on the treadmill--actually, she did it herself. 
Now I can't get on it with her in the room or she'll nudge me off of it. 
But it works out well since the heat in June was so bad.

 
Well, I hope things are going well...we've been busy and having tons of fun.  She's brought much joy.
